Whether you choose to believe in originality or not, there’s no denying the ineffable experience of having an idea. Taking an idea all the way through the process of becoming tangible is what inspires me to create. The end result is never exactly true to the original idea, which makes pursuing them such an exciting discovery.

I’m a freelance graphic designer based out of Richmond, VT. I make visual identities, logos, graphic art, ads/ promo, music, food, campfires, you name it. I approach every creative challenge with the same fundamental mindset of taking it one step at a time, continuously adding or subtracting until I’ve reached the outcome. What I love most about this work is the variety of clients I get to collaborate with and the opportunity to fully immerse myself in their worlds. To do a good job, I have to learn what makes their passions unique, and that process of discovery fuels my own creativity.

Outside of design, my interests include skiing, mountains, music, guitar, ultimate frisbee, skateboarding, painting, and cooking. Each of these connects me to communities built around shared enthusiasm. I enjoy exploring the nuances, aesthetics, and attitudes that make these subcultures distinct, and most of all, understanding what it means to truly belong to them. That same curiosity drives how I work with clients: I value genuine relationships and believe the best creative results come from collaboration and trust. My goal is to help people bring their ideas to life in ways that feel authentic to them.

Learning how to ski was probably my first “passion project”. I had an idea of how I wanted to ski and chased the feelings I liked from it. Since then, I’ve taken on all kinds of challenges in pretty much the same vain. I’m the type of person who always has something in the works. Hard work keeps me engaged, and I find energy in learning, experiencing, and sharing along the way.
